Three words you'd use to describe your area:
Accessible, diverse, inviting
What's your favorite local cafe or coffee shop and why?
Colectivo Coffee - great coffee and amazing breakfast burritos!
You've got a dog lover visiting, where do you go?
That's easy - we have great trails in Lakeview and Lincoln Park for walking the dog, running, bike riding, etc.
You need a get-away-from it all escape, where do you go and why?
Right now I'm feeling Key West as a getaway.
A foodie fanatic is visiting, where do you take them and what will you order?
I would take them to El Nuevo Mexicano, our favorite mexican restaurant. I don't do tiny, expensive food.
You're filling a gift bag that showcases 3 - 5 of your favorite local goods, what do you include?
Italian beef sandwich from Portillo's, pizza and brats.
City explorers unite! Where would you take a visitor if you only had 3 hours to show off your area and why?
Millennium Park - it's a great core spot and if you catch a concert at night, it's the best 3 hours spent.
Sporting teams can bring a community together - what teams do you love to cheer for?
Cubs, Bulls, Bears
How long have you lived in this incredible place? What brought you here and why you suggest someone else consider moving here?
Almost my entire life - you don't move here for the weather. You move here for the people, culture, music options, museum options, food options and affordable city living.
The neighborhood you call home and what you love about it:
Lakeview is a great place to be single, married and raise a family. I wouldn't live anywhere else. It has good elementary schools, parks, restaurants, etc.
